Post BETT Round-Up

Here at Planet PC we've just returned from the annual BETT show at London's Excel and to say we've been busy is certainly an understatement!

As per usual the show proved to be a great chance to say hello to customers old and new and it was excellent to see some familiar faces and catch up about all things video related - from portable chroma key solutions to permanent fixed studios and everything in between.

The show was also the perfect opportunity for us to showcase our newly updated MovieBox range and we're pleased to be able to say that the feedback received was excellent. All our new MovieBoxes are now in HD and feature integrated monitors along with improved hardware. As a result our MovieBoxes are now quicker and easier to use than ever before and a great alternative to a permanent studio when space and time is limited.

Those of you lucky enough to be able to attend may have also noticed our BETT media crew filming and interviewing throughout the show. The crew consisted of a groups of students aged between nine and ten years old and while they were only a small group we think it's fair to say they certainly made a big impact!

When the media crew weren't busy filming and interviewing with our iPad MovieMaker kit they were hard at work on the stand showcasing their talents on one of the MovieBoxes which they used to produce great looking news shows which even the professionals would have been proud of. We'd like to take this chance to say a huge thank you to our BETT media crew for doing such a great job!

We'd also like to thank everyone who took the time to stop by the stand and to anyone who didn't get chance - fingers crossed we'll see you next year.

With this in mind, if next year is too long to wait then please feel free to get in touch to discuss anything video related - whether you'd like to talk cameras or ask about a MovieBox demo. New MovieBox Range from Planet PC

Here at Planet PC we're no strangers to the annual BETT show in London and chances are anyone who has attended in the past will have seen us there at some point. This year will be no different and we'll be exhibiting at this year's show on stand number B290 so if you are heading down next week feel free to come over and say hello.

With this in mind we're pleased to announce that we'll be showcasing our updated range of MovieBoxes which can be viewed online here:

Along with updating our original MovieBoxes (with the exception of the Take 1 Plus) we've added a brand new one to the range in the form of the Take 4 Plus which features an integrated 42" display as well as the internal monitor!

All new MovieBoxes now include one integrated HD monitor as standard and include everything you need to produce professional video productions quickly and easily. Whether it's a professional news broadcast or a stop-frame animation, our MovieBoxes allow you to achieve big results with minimal set-up.
Introducing the Take 4 Plus

We've spent the past year planning and redesigning the MovieBox range with students and staff in mind and think it's safe to say that these new and improved designs are our best ones yet. We hope you'll agree, but don't just take our word for it - head on over to stand B290 and check out the full range for yourself - just don't forget to smile for the cameras!

We're also pleased to announce that we're introducing some brand new fixed studio solutions which start at just £7,995 (ex vat) and include the Planet MovieStudio, Planet MovieStudio Plus and the Planet MovieStudio Pro. The MovieStudio's have been designed as off-the-shelf packages for those who are looking for a more permanent TV Studio in a dedicated creative space.

The iPad MovieMaker

Along with our MovieBox and MovieStudio range we also provide a range of smaller video kits which include the Roving Reporter, the Pro School camera kit and the iPad MovieMaker kit.

All the kits have been designed with a range of budgets in mind and to be as user friendly as possible. As a result there really is something for everyone whether you're taking your first steps into the world of video or are an  experienced user looking to utilise creative technologies further within education.
